Announcement of City's First Homelessness Services Coordinator On Monday, September 8, 2008, Mayor Frank Guinta and Heritage United Way President and CEO, Patrick Tufts, announced the new Homelessness Services Coordinator for the City of Manchester, as well as members of the Homelessness Steering Committee. This is a follow-up to the February release of "A Home for Everyone: A 10-Year Plan to End Homelessness in the City of Manchester." Susan Howland, currently the Development Director at New Horizons in Manchester, was named to lead the new initiative aimed at curbing homelessness in Manchester. She will work in the Heritage United Way office under direction from the 14-member Steering Committee.
