Dear Arnie and Political Chowder,

How does the Department of Education contribute to the education of our children?

How does 89 supervisory unions contribute to the education of our children?

In 1997 Governor Shaheen had a democrat Senate and a supposedly Republican House.... what if they had said to the Supreme Court thank you for your opinion, please note, OPINION, we know we have a problem and we shall handle it our way.

I realize you favor an Income Tax, but don't you think before we go that way we should take an inventory of what we have and what we need?

What is wrong with local control and don't you think that adequacy can be determined locally, instead of the "One size fits all" mentality of socialism?

You have a good show and keep up the good work.

Arnie responds: Bob, I do think local communities can do a pretty good job determining adequacy - that ain't the problem. The problem is, some communities just don't have the property wealth to pay for the adequate education their kids need.
