Self-Inflicted Pain

Re: Sen. Robert Clegg's request to make New Hampshire insurers pay for weight-loss surgery for the obese:

This is tantamount to thievery for the fat and lazy. If we pass such a bill, it just makes us look foolish. This type of obesity is like a self-inflicted wound in most cases. The resulting financial and physical pain should not be shared by others.
